If you can’t make this quiche no one can - yep it’s that easy. A classic savory quiche featuring diced ham and fresh scallions in a creamy egg custard, baked in a flaky pie crust for a delightful brunch or dinner option.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup half-and-half
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup diced cooked ham
  • 1/2 cup chopped scallions
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Fit the unbaked pie crust into a 9-inch pie plate and crimp the edges.
  3. Prick the bottom of the crust with a fork and bake for 10 minutes to partially set.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, half-and-half, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. Stir in the diced ham, chopped scallions, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Pour the filling into the pre-baked crust.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
