Classic Piña Colada

A creamy, tropical frozen cocktail that combines fresh pineapple, coconut flavors, and rum for a refreshing beachside vibe.

  • 2 cups fresh pineapple
  • 1 cup young coconut flesh or coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup cream of coconut
  • 4 ounces bacardi rum
  • 2 cups ice

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop 2 cups of fresh pineapple into chunks.
  2. Crack open a young coconut and scoop out the flesh, or use 1 cup coconut milk if preferred.
  3. Add the pineapple chunks, coconut flesh or milk, 1/2 cup cream of coconut, 4 ounces Bacardi rum, and 2 cups ice to a blender.
  4. Blend on high speed until smooth and frothy, about 30-45 seconds.
  5. Pour the mixture into chilled glasses and serve immediately.
  6. Optional: Garnish with pineapple wedges or maraschino cherries.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum and add more pineapple juice. Blend in a high-powered blender for the smoothest texture; if too thick, add a splash of pineapple juice.
