Smoked Salmon & Avocado Mixed Greens Salad
A bright, protein‑rich salad that balances buttery avocado, tangy goat cheese, and silky smoked salmon with a sweet‑balsamic finish.

- 4 cups mixed greens
- 1 avocado, ripe and sliced
- 1 tomato, ripe and diced
- 4 tbsp goat cheese, crumbled
- 4 oz smoked salmon or lox, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp extra‑virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
- salt
- freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Toss the mixed greens in a large bowl to loosen them.
- Add the sliced avocado and diced tomato, then gently toss again to distribute.
- Scatter the crumbled goat cheese over the greens and arrange the smoked salmon strips on top.
- Drizzle the olive oil and balsamic glaze, then season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, optionally garnished with a sprinkle of fresh lemon zest for extra brightness.
Notes
For an extra pop of flavor, add a pinch of finely grated lemon zest just before serving.
