Jalapeno Popper Pigs In a Blanket
Spicy jalapeño popper pigs in a blanket made with cream cheese, jalapeños, cocktail sausages, and crescent roll dough.
Ingredients
Ingredients
- 3 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1/4 cups fresh or canned jalapenos (diced)
- 24 cocktail sausages (sometimes called lil' smokies)
- 1 pillsbury refrigerated crescent roll dough
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and spray a cooking sheet lightly with cooking spray.
- In a food processor, blend the cream cheese and jalapenos until smooth; if you don’t have a food processor, finely dice the jalapenos and blend.
- Unroll the crescent rolls and cut each triangle into three small pieces, chopping off the pointy end for one section and splitting the remaining section into two sections.
- Press each crescent roll piece gently to flatten and spread about 2 tsp of the cream cheese mixture on the roll, place a cocktail sausage on top, then roll up.
- Place the assembled pigs in a blanket on the cooking sheet and bake for 10‑12 minutes, or until golden brown.
