Ginger Lime Turkey Bowls
A bright, savory bowl featuring ground turkey glazed with ginger‑lime sauce, crisp green beans, and fluffy jasmine rice, topped with crunchy peanuts and chili crisp.
Ingredients
Bowl Components
- 2 cups jasmine rice, cooked
- 3 cups green beans, ends trimmed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil (or avocado oil)
- 1 scallions, whites and greens, sliced
- 6 garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp grated ginger (or ginger paste)
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/3 cups low sodium soy sauce
- 3 tbsp sriracha
- 2 lime juice
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
Garnishes
- 2 tbsp roasted peanuts, chopped
- 1 tbsp chili crisp
- 2 tbsp green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced scallion whites, garlic, and ginger; sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add ground turkey, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned, 5–7 minutes.
- Stir in maple syrup, soy sauce, sriracha, lime juice, salt, and pepper; simmer for 3 minutes to coat the meat.
- While the turkey simmers, steam or blanch the green beans until crisp‑tender, about 4 minutes.
- Divide cooked jasmine rice among four bowls as the base.
- Top each bowl with the ginger‑lime turkey mixture and a handful of green beans.
- Drizzle any remaining sauce from the pan over the bowls.
- Finish with chopped roasted peanuts, a spoonful of chili crisp, and a sprinkle of green onions.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the bright flavors.
Notes
Cook the jasmine rice a day ahead for the best texture, and adjust the amount of sriracha to suit your heat preference.
