One Pan High Protein Mapo Tofu

- 1 lb lean ground beef (90/10)
- 2.5 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp doubanjiang (spicy bean paste)
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp sichuan peppercorn
- 1 tsp chicken bouillon powder
- 1.5 tbsp cornstarch
- 6 tbsp water
- 15 oz silken tofu
- 1 green onion
Instructions
- Thinly slice the green onion.
- In a pan over medium heat, cook the ground beef and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add minced garlic, minced ginger, oyster sauce, doubanjiang, soy sauce, Sichuan peppercorn, and chicken bouillon powder; mix well.
- Combine cornstarch and water to form a slurry and slowly pour it into the pan, stirring continuously.
- Score the silken tofu into small cubes, add to the pan, and gently stir until fully incorporated.
- Top with the sliced green onion and enjoy!
