Ingredients
- 0.5 lb ground turkey
- 1 tbsp taco seasoning

- 0.25 cups red onion
- 1 count avocado
- 0.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp hot sauce
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground turkey.
- Cook the turkey, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and a splash of water, simmering for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Prepare the toppings by halving the cherry tomatoes, dicing the red onion, and slicing the avocado.
- Warm the flour tortillas in a dry pan or microwave for 15 seconds.
- Assemble the tacos by spooning the turkey mixture into the center of each tortilla.
- Top with shredded cheese, fresh cherry tomatoes, red onion, and avocado slices.
- Serve immediately with your favorite hot sauce.
Notes
For the best texture, make sure to dice your red onion finely so it provides a nice crunch without overpowering the other flavors. If you want extra creaminess, add a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt on top.
