Baked Chicken Burger Patties with Bell Peppers
Juicy baked chicken patties infused with colorful bell peppers and savory seasonings, perfect for a healthier twist on classic burgers. These patties are easy to prepare and bake to perfection without the need for frying.
Ingredients
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 medium bell pepper
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup bread crumbs
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Finely chop the bell pepper and mince the garlic.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped bell pepper, egg, bread crumbs, garlic, salt, pepper, onion powder, paprika, and dried parsley. Mix gently with your hands until just combined, being careful not to overwork the mixture.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty about ½-inch thick.
- Place the patties on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the patties are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving on buns or with your favorite sides.
