The BEST Banana Bread
This is my go to recipe. Trust me.

Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- ½ cups butter
- 2 eggs – slightly beaten
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 4 tbsp crème fraiche (sub sour cream or yogurt)
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 1/3 cups flour
- 1 cups mashed bananas
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cups optional: nuts
- ½ tsp optional: rum flavoring
Instructions
- Set oven to 325 degrees
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy with electric mixer
- Add beaten eggs
- Dissolve baking soda in sour cream. Add to butter/egg mixture. Beat well
- Add mashed bananas and vanilla
- Add flour and salt. Mix well
- If desired, add nuts/or rum flavoring
- Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour 20 mins if baking one loaf. If baking muffins, 25 mins, or until knife inserted comes out clean.
