- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Trim and halve 1 1/2 pounds of Brussels sprouts, discarding any tough outer leaves.
- In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, maple syrup, and balsamic vinegar.
- Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, cut sides down.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are caramelized and tender. Do not flip during roasting.
- Serve immediately as a glossy, flavorful side dish.
