- Dissolve 2 teaspoons active dry yeast in 1 1/2 cups warm water in a large bowl and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add 4 cups all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons salt, and 1/4 cup olive oil to the yeast mixture, stirring until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic, then place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for 1 hour until doubled.
- Preheat oven to 425°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with olive oil.
- Punch down the dough and spread it evenly into the prepared pan, using fingertips to dimple the surface.
- Mix 1/4 cup melted butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon, then spread evenly over the dimpled dough.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and the top is set.
- While baking, whisk together 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract to make the glaze.
- Remove focaccia from oven and let cool slightly on a wire rack.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm focaccia and slice into squares to serve.
