  • 1 lb sausage
  • 1 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cups grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the all purpose flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley.
  3. Add the sausage to the bowl and mix with your hands until the mixture resembles crumbly meat.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour in the milk and olive oil, then mix until a cohesive dough forms.
  6. Roll the mixture into golf-ball sized balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the balls are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  9. Serve warm with dipping sauce or a fresh green salad.
  10. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
