Easy Sesame Chicken

- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 stalks green onions
Instructions
- Cut 1 pound of boneless skinless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with 1/4 cup cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Heat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the coated chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and cooked through; remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add 2 minced garlic cloves and 1 teaspoon grated ginger; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup honey, 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, and 2 tablespoons water; bring to a simmer.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce; cook for 2 minutes until thickened.
- Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
