Quickly stir-fry little smokies with shredded cabbage and onions in a savory sauce for a crunchy, flavorful low-carb meal that's ideal for busy weeknights.

  • 12 oz little smokies
  • 1/2 head cabbage
  • 1 large onion
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 inch piece ginger
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Shred 1/2 head of cabbage and slice 1 large onion; mince 2 garlic cloves and grate 1-inch piece of ginger.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add 12 ounces little smokies to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned.
  4. Push smokies to the side and add the sliced onion; cook for 2 minutes until softened.
  5. Stir in the shredded cabbage, minced garlic, and grated ginger; cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently, until cabbage is tender-crisp.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  7. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and smokies; stir well to coat and cook for 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through and combined.
  8. Remove from heat and serve hot, optionally garnished with chopped green onions.
