One-pan ground turkey skillet with onions, garlic, and warm spices. Quick, moist, and versatile for tacos, pasta sauce, or bowls.

  • 2 lb ground turkey
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 piece onion
  • 3–4 cloves garlic
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika or smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce or worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil if using.
  2. Sauté the onion until soft and translucent, about 4–5 minutes.
  3. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Crumble in the ground turkey and cook, breaking it up, until no pink remains.
  5. Season with salt, black pepper, paprika, cumin, and oregano, then stir in soy sauce or Worcestershire.
  6. Deglaze the pan with a splash of water or broth if needed and simmer 2–3 minutes to meld flavors.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning, then serve as desired or store for meal prep.
