- 1/4 cups soy sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, vegetable oil, and cornstarch until smooth.
- Cut the chicken into bite‑size pieces (or leave whole) and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium‑high heat, add a little oil, then add the chicken. Cook until browned, about 5‑6 minutes.
- Pour the honey‑soy mixture over the chicken, stirring to coat. Cook another 5‑7 minutes, until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if using. Serve over rice or noodles.
