  • 1.5 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cups soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, vegetable oil, and cornstarch until smooth.
  2. Cut the chicken into bite‑size pieces (or leave whole) and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium‑high heat, add a little oil, then add the chicken. Cook until browned, about 5‑6 minutes.
  4. Pour the honey‑soy mixture over the chicken, stirring to coat. Cook another 5‑7 minutes, until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if using. Serve over rice or noodles.
