Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chewy, classic chocolate chip cookies with a buttery flavor from unsalted butter and plenty of chocolate. Not too sweet.

- 2 Sticks unsalted butter (softened)
- 100 g granulated sugar
- 110 g light brown sugar (packed)
- 9.8 g vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 410 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 250 G chocolate
- flaky salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). Line three baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a medium bowl mix all-purpose flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1 tsp sea salt. Set aside.
- Cream together 2 sticks unsalted butter (softened) and 100 g granulated sugar and 110 g light brown sugar until combined.
- Beat in 2 eggs and 9.8 g vanilla extract until light (about 1 minute).
- Mix in the dry ingredients until combined.
- Add chocolate chunks and mix well.
- Roll 2-3 tbsp of dough at a time into balls and place them evenly spaced on your prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake in preheated oven for approximately 12 minutes. Take them out when they are just barely starting to turn brown.
- Top with flaky salt
- Let them sit on the baking pan for 5 minutes before removing to cooling rack.
