Greek Turkey Meatballs
Juicy Greek-inspired turkey meatballs served with a creamy homemade tzatziki sauce.
Ingredients
Making the Meatballs
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cups bread crumbs
- 1/4 cups red onion
- 2 tbsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/3 cups feta cheese
- 1/4 cups sundried tomatoes
Tzatziki Sauce
- 1 cups plain greek yogurt
- 1/2 cups grated english cucumber
- 2 garlic
- 2 tbsp fresh dill
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- In a mixing bowl, combine all meatball ingredients and mix well using a wooden spoon or your hands.
- Take about a tablespoon of meatball mixture and roll meatballs into 1-1/2 inch balls. Place on a baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
- Bake meatballs 20-22 minutes until meatballs are browned and reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
- While the meatballs are cooking, gather all tzatziki ingredients. Squeeze as much liquid out of grated cucumber as possible.
- Add all the tzatziki ingredients to a small bowl and mix well.
- Using as a dipping sauce or topping for the Greek Turkey Meatballs.
