Greek Turkey Meatballs

Juicy Greek-inspired turkey meatballs served with a creamy homemade tzatziki sauce.

Ingredients

Making the Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cups bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cups red onion
  • 2 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/3 cups feta cheese
  • 1/4 cups sundried tomatoes

Tzatziki Sauce

  • 1 cups plain greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cups grated english cucumber
  • 2 garlic
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all meatball ingredients and mix well using a wooden spoon or your hands.
  3. Take about a tablespoon of meatball mixture and roll meatballs into 1-1/2 inch balls. Place on a baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  4. Bake meatballs 20-22 minutes until meatballs are browned and reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
  5. While the meatballs are cooking, gather all tzatziki ingredients. Squeeze as much liquid out of grated cucumber as possible.
  6. Add all the tzatziki ingredients to a small bowl and mix well.
  7. Using as a dipping sauce or topping for the Greek Turkey Meatballs.
