- 24 tablespoons salted butter
- 4 cups sugar
- 6 eggs

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Butter a 9 x 13-inch metal baking pan.
- In a double boiler over low heat, melt the unsweetened chocolate and salted butter together.
- Transfer the melted chocolate and butter to a large mixing bowl.
- Stir in the sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs, vanilla extract, flour, and salt, mixing by hand until just combined. Avoid overmixing for a gooier texture.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 32 to 35 minutes. The brownies should be set but still slightly moving in the center—do not overbake.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan.
- For easier handling, make ahead, freeze the whole pan, then cut into squares while frozen.
