I should’ve listened when every single recipe guided me to not put as much creatine as I did. I prefer dry scooping.
Homemade Creatine Fruit Gummies
These chewy, fruit-flavored gummies provide a tasty and portable way to incorporate creatine into your routine, made with a vibrant berry-banana purée for natural sweetness and color.
Ingredients
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup fruit purée
- 2 tbsp water (for purée)
- 2 envelopes (14g) unflavored gelatin
- 2 tbsp water (for gelatin)
- 5 scoops (25g) creatine monohydrate powder
- 2 tbsp water (for creatine)
Instructions
- Make your fruit purée. I used frozen berries, frozen banana, and a splash of water to get it to blend
- Heat the fruit purée in a saucepan over low heat until steaming, stirring regularly. Do not boil. Remove from heat once steaming.
- In a small bowl, sprinkle 2 envelopes (about 14g) unflavored gelatin over 2 tablespoons cold water. Let it bloom for 5-10 minutes until it absorbs the water and becomes gel-like.
- Add the bloomed gelatin to the warm purée and stir vigorously until fully dissolved, about 1-2 minutes.
- In another small bowl, mix 5 scoops (about 25g) creatine monohydrate powder with 2 tablespoons water to form a smooth suspension. Set aside.
- Once the fruit the mixture is cooled to 95°F, add the creatine mixture.
- Gently stir the creatine suspension into the cooled purée mixture until evenly combined.
- Pour the mixture into silicone gummy molds, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
- Place the molds in the freezer for 20-30 minutes until set. Pop the gummies out and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
